Medicine Lodge Lake / Painted Rock - July 6

 It's time for the Medicine Lodge Lake / Painted Rock ride. We will be having  lunch at the Lower Painted Rock Campgrounds where you can use the picnic tables and restrooms.  If everyone can please meet at the Weigh station on the Greybull highway across from the Airport for the convoy to the unloading spot  The group needs to leave by 8:00AM. 

 Starting  from the Medicine Lodge Archeological Site, this trail goes up the  foothills and is a bit of a technical section of the then just above Paint Rock Canyon using an easy trail and maintained gravel road. Then the trail turns to high-clearance 4x4. It has rock fields, open meadows, dense forest coverage, and a couple of ponds.

Head east on US-14 W/US-16 W/US-20E to Greybull (50.6mi)

We’ll stop at the Maverick Station for restroom break.

Continue on N 6th St/Railroad St to US-16 E/US-20 E/S

 to Aikaiai Rd in Hyattville   (46mi)

Destination will be Medicine Lodge Archaeological site.
